The fully welded wide channel plate heat exchanger is designed specifically for the special needs of customers. It is particularly suitable for processing media containing large amounts of solid particles and fiber suspensions, as well as viscous fluids, in production processes such as metallurgy, papermaking, sugar manufacturing, alcohol, chemical, and wastewater treatment industries.

1. Plate forming

The fully welded wide channel plate heat exchanger has a large single plate size, with a maximum length of over 10000mm and a width of 1200mm. It adopts the technology of continuous pressing of the whole plate in sections, dividing one plate into several parts and pressing them step by step on a 10000 ton hydraulic press to finally complete the forming of the whole plate. The length and structural dimensions of each section of the pressed board are completely consistent. This forming method is developed on the basis of traditional plate heat exchanger plate forming technology, ensuring the assembly and welding quality of plate pairs.

2. Welding method

The welding between the plate, fixed distance column, and plate is carried out using laser welding, with a circular weld trajectory and a narrow weld width. Then, seam welding is used to weld the longitudinal long welds on both sides of the plate, and automatic argon arc welding is used for the outer welds at the ends.
